The East Lancs Railway had their second wartime weekend today, even though this was a much smaller event than the very popular bank holiday weekend event, there were still a few folk around. I was lucky to catch these children as a group all joining the fun.

Had such a good day on Saturday at the 1940’s war weekend that I went again on Sunday with a couple of photo friends. My photos are not the military this time but a couple of 1940’s girls.

Spring Bank Holiday means 1940’s War Weekend on the East Lancashire Railway. This chap was different as we don’t often see guys in German Afrika Korps uniforms.
