Yesterday was the Talk Photography Forums meet-up in Southport, on the same weekend as the Air-Show. The meet-up ended up being very brief as people went their separate way very quickly. I did not pay to go in the air show but still managed to get a shot or two of the Red Arrows display.

Today there was a race by the British Human Power Club held at Preston Sports Arena, I guess this is really cycling, just lying down . The “bikes” are very fast, with the fully enclosed ones averaging 40 MPH for the 40 min race.
After this event, we carried on to Blackpool for the first UK Aero GP event . The race was not at all what they advertised. The planes only flew one at a time and much higher than I thought, so this is the only type of shot I got.
When your in Blackpool with a camera it’s sort of obligatory to go and get a shot of the Riverdance. Well they are now getting on with the job of cutting it up, and soon there will be nothing left to mark the accident.
