Remembrance Sunday and a time to pay our respect to the fallen who gave their lives so ours maybe fee. The parade held in Manchester was very well attend not only by a large crowd of the public, but also this year by veterans from other country’s along with those from the UK.

Holi, also called the Festival of Colours, is a popular Hindu spring festival.
Today there was a smallish event in Manchester, I could not really get right into the action due to not wearing old clothes and not covering my camera up first, something to remember for next year.

Went to the photography show at the NEC today, nothing cheap and an awful lot of stand displaying/selling frames and photo book. Loads of talks and seminars, missed the Canon one I really want to see, but saw and learnt a lot from one on off camera flash. I also saw first hand what a good photographer can do with a model, she looked a little ropey in the flesh but stunning in the shots from the flash demo.
I did manage to snap a shot of the model on the Hasseblad stand, with my camera, I did not want to wait to use the blad.
