It was a very warm and bright sunny Friday evening for the 4th event in this years Tour of Horwich series, the Joseph Holt Cross Country race held in Ridgemont Park Horwich. The 4.5 mile course covered a selection of park land and open fields with a short trip into a small wooded area. The 86 runners found the course much tougher than in previous years due to a fallen tree and long grass in the field section the race
With this being the 4 race in a week and the day after the Two Lads fell race many athletes are starting to feel the effects, lucky on one race left, this Sundays 5K road race.
