As it’s nearing the end of the year I am on holiday this week (use them or lose them) and with it being a nice day today I had a very spare of the moment trip to Manchester.
I thought I get a few shot’s of the Christmas markets and such (in another thread), but while there I remembered the Talk Photography Forumthread about being able to take photos in the John Rylands library. Most people who have travelled down Deansgate will know it as the Gothic building next to the M E N offices.

While I was at the hockey tournament yesterday I took the opportunity to take the most popular shot in Blackpool this year the Riverdance. Unfortunately I never even thought about the tide being in, so my shot gets the prize for worse Riverdance image so far.

After a couple of hours shooting the Mid Lancs Cross Country League meeting today I had a quick walk around Blackburn town centre. I was getting tired and it started to get very cold so I only got a few quick snaps of a statue near the bus station.
