About

I was born in Lancashire England in the very early 60’s, and have lived here all my life, and only became interested in photography late in life when I was give a Fuji A210 compact camera for my birthday. After using this for 18 months or so I realized that the photography bug had bitten and I decided to but myself a dSLR, the Canon 30D. I was just shooting anything that caught my eye, and I still do, but as a former international canoeist I realized that I had very few photos of myself taking part, and so I now take many sporting events in my local area to make this type of physical memory available to other sports persons. With many cultural events taking place in the nearby cities of Manchester and Liverpool, I find it an interesting day out watching and shooting parades and marches.
I also enjoy days out with my father who has now bought himself a camera too, so I also have some landscape and nature photographs in my portfolio .
