English Schools Athletic Association Cross Country regional finals for the North West held at Canon Slade School Bolton. The races were run over a shortened course due to the very heavy rain during the previous night making condition very difficult for the athletes. The rain did not manage to hold off for all the events with the intermediate girl’s race being held during a torrential downpour.
