I’d been looking forward to going to my first track and field event for a few weeks, but on waking up in the morning and looking outside it was all rain and sleet. Well there was no chance I was standing outside and getting soaked, and I thought the day would be a total washout. In the afternoon the sun came out a little so off I went, and I’m glad too. It turned in to a lovely afternoon with plenty of good photos to be had.
