Today was the last running event I’ll be going to for a while, As summer slowly approaches over sports and events pop up on the calendar. The Roddlesworth Roller is a multi terrain running race held in Abbey Village, Nr Chorley.
I looked very sunny when I set out for the day, but there was a very biting cold wind, which is why many of the runners are wearing gloves.
After the main adult event the local school also hold an under 16s race the Daffodil Doddle. Run over 2 miles of hilly footpaths, road and pavement the event is a good test for the very young and a quick sprint for the more experienced runner
